Although the thermostat installed on the heater is rated at 180°C, this value should not be considered the sole determining factor for the heating performance. The type, viscosity, and volume of the liquid inside the drum are the primary factors that influence the overall heating efficiency.
In most applications where the main objective is freeze protection, the use of one heater per drum is generally sufficient.
If the liquid needs to be maintained at a more stable and controlled temperature, it is recommended to use two heaters per drum to achieve better heat distribution and temperature stability.
For applications where the temperature needs to be increased more rapidly or significantly, the use of three heaters per drum may be required depending on the heating demand.
Therefore, the type and volume of the liquid inside the drum should always be considered the key parameters when determining the appropriate number of heaters to be used.
